Imaging studies at Meridian are physician-ordered. Your clinician will explain why the study is recommended.

Call the front desk at 301-627-3500 to confirm the study, the location where it will be performed, and your appointment time. Available studies vary by location.

Follow only the preparation instructions provided for your study. Instructions may cover food, fluids, medications, arrival time, and documents. Do not fast, stop, or change medications unless your clinician or imaging team tells you to.

• Arrive at the time listed in your instructions
• Photo ID and insurance card
• Your order and any requested prior imaging records
• Tell the team about pregnancy, implanted devices, allergies, or mobility needs

Completed studies are routed to your ordering clinician, who will review the results with you and plan next steps.
